A Nightcap with Agent Provocateur

Who doesn’t love a good nightcap? One of my favorite things to do is have dinner at home then get dressed up to head out for a nightcap and dessert.
This is a great first date idea because you get to know each other without having to sit through a lengthy dinner in case things don’t go well. If you have taken part in the online dating trend, then you know how much work can be involved! Lord, it is suppose to be easier but it is literally like hiring an assistant. You weed through endless emails and pictures before ever thinking of giving your number out. Before you do, you have to make sure you have a good call block list in place for the stalkers that are about to come out of the woodwork. To this day, I will still get a text every now and then from a guy saying, “Hey! We met in Barcelona 5 years ago at so and so club…what are you up to?” Clearly a lot more than you buddy!
For me, nightcaps have always been my first date choice. You get to see how the fella dresses which is very important to me. You get to see how he handles his liquor (classy or trashy), and you get to see if he is going to try to get you to go home on the first date, which screams douchebag red flag! Ladies, do not ignore the red flags, they are blazing saddles these days. Lucky for me, I can say I am not single at the moment. One of my online dates has blossomed into a relationship and is still going strong. Luckily we both love getting dressed up and flaunting ourselves about town a bit. It is fun to have a fashionista male partner. The dress in this picture is one of the dresses I wore out on our last NIGHTCAP ventures.
